Using our drawings
Everything drawn by draw.how - the step illustrations, the finished drawings and the printable step sheets - is free to use for personal, classroom and educational purposes. You do not need to ask us and you do not owe us anything.
Yes, freely
- Print the step sheets for yourself, your children or your class, as many copies as you like.
- Use them in lesson plans, worksheets, camps, libraries and after-school clubs.
- Share a link to a lesson anywhere, including in a post or a video.
Ask us first
- Republishing our step illustrations as your own content, on a site or in a product you sell.
- Bulk redistribution of the step sheets, for example bundling them into a paid pack.
- Training a machine-learning model on them.
For any of those, get in touch and we will almost certainly say yes - we just want to know about it. Contact us.
Your own drawings belong to you
Anything you draw here is yours. It stays private unless you explicitly publish it, we do not sell or license it to anyone, and we never train any model on it. We also never generate art for you - the whole point is that you made the thing.
What we will not draw
We do not publish lessons for trademarked or copyrighted characters. Every subject here is a generic or public-domain one, which is why you will not find branded characters on this site even though they are what a lot of people search for.
