இந்த வரைகலை பற்றி
A candle is a cylinder with a soul: the wax column is the jar lesson again, but the flame is a new problem - a teardrop that must read as light, which means it is the one thing on the page you barely touch. The flame stays paper-white; everything NEAR it darkens instead, and the melted rim drips break the top ellipse.
Underneath, this is the same two-ellipse build as every cup and bottle here; the object lives in the profile between them.

-
படி 1
Draw the eye-level guide.
Everything about the ellipses follows from where your eye is. Decide now, consciously, and mark it - letting it drift mid-drawing is how the rim and base end up disagreeing.
கவனமாக Not deciding, then drawing contradictory ellipses.
சரிபார் You should be able to say if you are above or level with the rim.
-
படி 2
Draw the opening as one ellipse.
Round three or four times in one fast continuous motion and keep the best pass. Speed is what makes an ellipse smooth - drawn slowly it lumps on one side every time.
கவனமாக Building the ellipse from four careful arcs.
சரிபார் The rim should be symmetrical about its long axis.
-
படி 3
Draw the walls down to the base.
Start each side exactly at the widest point of the rim ellipse. A step where side meets rim is instantly visible and almost impossible to hide later.
கவனமாக Sides starting inside or outside the rim's ends.
சரிபார் Each side should leave the rim at its widest point.
-
படி 4
Close the bottom with a rounder curve.
The base is further from your eye than the rim, so it is ROUNDER - same width, more curve. Getting this backwards is what makes vessels look like they are sliding off the table.
கவனமாக A base flatter than the rim, or a straight line.
சரிபார் The base curve should be rounder than the rim.
-
படி 5
Put a second curve just inside the top.
One curve just inside the rim gives the material its thickness and turns the top from a painted disc into an opening. It follows the rim's curve, not parallel all the way round.
கவனமாக Skipping it, leaving a flat disc on top.
சரிபார் A visible band should separate the two curves at the front.
-
படி 6
Add the neck of the candle.
Where the profile changes is where the form lives. Draw the change on both sides at the same height - a shoulder at two heights makes the whole vessel lean.
கவனமாக The profile changing at different heights left and right.
சரிபார் Both sides should change shape at the same height.
-
படி 7
Add the handle - a strap, not a wire.
Both ends must touch the body - a floating handle is the most common error on any vessel. And it is a strap with thickness, never a single line.
கவனமாக A handle drawn as one wire line, or floating.
சரிபார் Both handle ends should touch the vessel's side.
-
படி 8
Add what makes it a candle.
The identifying details go on last and they follow the form - a label, a pattern or a spout curves with the surface it sits on.
கவனமாக Flat detail pasted over a round form.
சரிபார் Any pattern should bend with the body.
-
படி 9
Shade the shadow side.
A cylinder's darkest band sits just INSIDE the shadow edge, not at it. Lay the strokes vertically, following the form, and build up in passes.
கவனமாக Scrubbing horizontal tone across a vertical form.
சரிபார் The darkest band should sit inside the outline.
-
படி 10
Keep a light line right at the dark edge.
Light bounces off the table back onto the very edge, so leave a thin lighter strip at the outline. That strip is what makes the form read as round rather than flat-shaded.
கவனமாக Shading right up to the edge.
சரிபார் A light strip should separate shading from outline.
-
படி 11
Add the shadow on the table.
Darkest where it touches the base, softening as it spreads. The cast shadow is what anchors the vessel - without it the thing floats no matter how well you shaded it.
கவனமாக A detached grey blob nearby.
சரிபார் The shadow should touch the base.
-
படி 12
Weight the outline, lose the construction.
Weight the rim and the silhouette, erase the eye-level guide, and check the two ellipses one last time - they are what the whole drawing stands on.
கவனமாக Leaving the eye-level line in.
சரிபார் Rim and silhouette should be the darkest lines.

இந்த ஒன்று உண்மையில் உங்களுக்கு கற்றுக்கொடுக்கிறது என்ன
This is an ellipse lesson wearing a household object. The rim and base must agree about your eye level, and learning to make them agree fixes wheels, plates and hats at the same time.
The candle teaches drawing light by omission: the brightest thing on the page is the least worked, defined entirely by the tones around it. It is the highlight rule from the solid family, promoted from accent to subject.

உங்களுக்கு என்ன தேவை
A pencil and any paper, or a finger on the canvas above - nothing here needs special equipment. Keep the construction light if you are on paper, because the guides come off at the end.
அது தவறு போகிறது என்றால்
If the flame looks solid, you shaded it: a flame is drawn by contrast - leave it white, darken around it, and give it one inner teardrop for the core.
If the top edge is too clean, melt it: one or two drips running from the rim, each a narrow U hanging over the edge, break the ellipse honestly.
If the wick is wrong, it is too long or too straight - a burnt wick is short and curls, one small dark hook between wax and flame.

கேள்விகள்
- How do I draw a candle flame?
- By not drawing it: leave the teardrop white, add one inner teardrop for the core, and darken the area AROUND it. Light on paper is always the tone of its surroundings.
- How do I draw melted wax drips?
- One or two narrow U-shapes hanging over the rim, different lengths, breaking the top ellipse. More than three reads as a cave formation.
- How long should a candle's wick be?
- Short and curled - one small dark hook between wax and flame. A long straight wick reads as unlit even with a flame drawn on it.
- Can I draw a candle on paper instead of the canvas?
- Yes - print the step sheet and draw beside it. The ellipse practice actually benefits from paper, where your whole arm is free, and a photo of the page gets measured exactly like a canvas drawing.
- How do I draw the top of a candle?
- As one fast ellipse, going round several times and keeping the best pass. Its roundness depends on your eye level - decide that first.
- Why does my candle look like it is tipping over?
- The base ellipse disagrees with the rim. The base is always slightly ROUNDER than the rim, never flatter, and both must be the same width.
- Can a beginner draw a candle?
- Yes, and it is worth it - the ellipse practice transfers directly to wheels, plates, hats and eyes. There is a finish-early step partway through.
- How do I shade a candle?
- Vertically, following the form, darkest just inside the shadow edge with a thin light strip at the very edge - that strip is what makes it read as round.
- What is the hardest part of drawing a candle?
- The two ellipses agreeing with each other. Everything else is forgiving; the rim and base are what the eye checks first.
